Well, I am kind of stuck now. I finally got the estimate back from the florist at Martins and they were definitely higher then what I expected. So, now I do not know what to do. I was told by friends that they were so cheap and they do a good job. When I got the estimate back, it was about two to three hundred dollars more then I thought. I guess I am going to have to go back to the beginning and look again. I am still making the arrangements for the reception, but I really want real flowers for the the bridesmaids and me.
I finally got a hold of my cousin and it looks like she is going to be able to help me out with all the flowers. This might actually save me a lot of money. I have many ideas and I hope that we can get them done. I hope that we can get them done before spring next year. So, I guess for now the big thing I have to worry about is the photographer. I am still looking for that. There are very little photographers around here it seems. The ones that I have looked at are already booked for next summer.
I started printing my save the date reminders the other day and I am so excited about it. I am going to be sending those to everyone hopefully this next week. Also, I sent a save the date email reminder last week to family members to let them know about what is going on so far. Here is a sample of both of those reminders: emailed version and printed version. I will start to print the actual invitations probably in a month or two. I am so excited about that.
Getting stuck might actually be a good thing. It gives you the opportunity to go back and figure out a better solution. It forces you to rethink your choices. Good luck!
It seems as if you need a Gmail account to view the emailed version of your save the date reminder. Is this so? What am I doing wrong?
No should just be able to open the email version. I have tried it on a computer that does not have gmail set up and it works for me. It does ask me to print it right away though, but you can cancel out of it to see the save the date information.
