I guess for now I am just waiting to hear back from people to know what to do next. We have talked to some photographers about their pictures, but some of the prices were a little steep and some fairly cheap. Now, we are just waiting to see what happens with one more photographer we will meet with next week. After that we will make the decision I guess. It is so hard to choose. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. One is a friend of mine and one is a friend of my fiance’s. Neither one of us want them to get mad at us if we decide to not go with one of them. I am sure everything will work out in the end.
A break for me?
Well for now I am going to a break from planning. This is only to let myself come up with more ideas. I know that I will get more ideas if I just take a break and refresh myself. I have made many decisions so far. I just need to make sure that everything is going the way I want it to. I need to make the save-the-date cards to send out as soon as possible. That in itself just takes time. Once those are done and sent out I will be able to make the actual invitations for the wedding. I have decided to make those myself as well. I have already started, I just need to print them. It takes a while to print them and I need to make sure that I have enough ink for printer to do that.
What to do?
Well, I am kind of stuck now. I finally got the estimate back from the florist at Martins and they were definitely higher then what I expected. So, now I do not know what to do. I was told by friends that they were so cheap and they do a good job. When I got the estimate back, it was about two to three hundred dollars more then I thought. I guess I am going to have to go back to the beginning and look again. I am still making the arrangements for the reception, but I really want real flowers for the the bridesmaids and me.
What I have done so far:
Well, I am so excited because I have so much done for the wedding and lots of time left. I just finally got a break with the girl’s dresses. A friend of a friend is going to make them for us and says that she will probably start doing that in February. That is so great. Also I finally got a chance to sit down with the florist and talk about prices. Let me tell you, flowers are definitely more expensive then you think. I was actually shocked that my bouquet was going to be over a hundred dollars. That is okay though. I am still going to get real flowers for the wedding party and then have the silk flowers for the reception. So, I am really excited about what is done.
